Wanted to explore Melrose and this hotel was decent place for doing it. The location was stunning and marvellous for me as it was just off Melrose, the surrounding area and lovely garden. Also, Rhymer's Stone was 3 km away from the venue: D

Spacious rooms with big connected private bathroom! I paid £71 👍. Quiet spot, not too far from everywhere. Situated close to a huge garden and a charming town nearby.

I had a blast enjoying the delicious à la carte breakfast and chilling in the terrace with a view. Loved that I didn't have to worry about parking, and the garden was a great spot to people watch.
Oh, towels are provided? How generous.

Loved the terrace where I could pretend I was a lady of leisure. And the free parking? It was so thrilling to not have to squeeze my fancy car into a tiny space. Towels provided, thank goodness, I'd hate to dry myself with a paper napkin.
They didn't offer a personal towel warmer to match the posh ambience. Can't have my precious towels feeling neglected, now can we?

Booked a room with large adjoining private bathroom for £71, the location was exceptionally nice and lovely, in the middle of the city, making it easy to walk everywhere.

The location of the property was conveniently close to town, but not right in the hustle and bustle. the host provided great local recommendations, making it easy to find a good place for dinner. the breakfast offered was delicious and worth the money.
That it was a bit hard to find the property in the dark, so having a sign at the turn would have been helpful. Otherwise, there were no other negatives to report.

I gotta say, the value for money at this B&B was top-notch. The room was super comfy and cozy, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. The location was perfect, quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside. And the staff? They were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
Okay, if I had to nitpick, the only thing that could've made the breakfast even better would be some more variety in the food options. But hey, it was still delicious!

We had a fabulous stay at Kirklands House B&B. the location was beautiful, set in a lovely garden with mature trees. the house itself was an 18th-century gem, handsomely furnished and full of charm. Our first-floor bedroom was very comfortable and the large adjoining private bathroom was a bonus. the views from the house were absolutely tremendous, with the huge lawns and surrounding countryside framed by trees. the host was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the breakfasts served in the elegant dining room were excellent, with a choice of delicious options. We would highly recommend Kirklands House and can't wait to return for another break. Cons: Everything was absolutely great! 👍.
